Granger Grind Mid Distance Race Committee – First Meeting, Wed Oct 9, 5.30PM

Dear Dog Power Sports People

The Granger Grind mid distance race ist set for early March. To pull it off DPSAY needs people to help out with the organizing committee. For example we need people for the following:

  • Race Director
  • Sponsorship coordinator
  • Trail Crew
  • Checkpoint Organizer
  • PR
  • Race Rules
  • Etc.

The race (or its predecessor the River Runner) has been going on for about 10 years now and we can follow much of the established format. So if you have never organized a dogsled/skijor race before, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
If you are interested in being part of this exciting event, please come to the first meeting of the organizing committee on Wednesday October 9 at 5:30 PM at the Town and Mountain Pub in Whitehorse (Main Street & Fourth Ave).
