Hello Race Fans,

We are happy to announce that registration for our annual mid-distance race “The Granger Grind” is now open!

THE GRANGER GRIND – March 9th and 10th

Race/Trail Overview
The 100 mile race (approximately) will start at the Lorne Mountain Community Centre, run up the Alligator Lake trail, cut around Mount Granger and take a mandatory 5 hour break at Sky High Wilderness Ranch. After the layover the race trail will follow a slightly different route before meeting back up with the Alligator Lake trail and ending back at the community center. (A more detailed description of the route will be available in the near future.)

Race Schedule
Start time: March 9th at 1:30 pm at the Lorne Mountain Community Centre
Musher’s Meeting: March 9th at 11 am at the Lorne Mountain Community Centre
Finishers Banquet: March 10th at 1 pm at the Lorne Mountain Community Centre

Categories and Entry Fees
100 mile sled 8-10 dogs: $120
100 mile skijor 2-4 dogs: $120
50 mile skijor 2-4 dogs: $60

(must be a DPSAY member……$15/person for the annual membership)

Forms can also be picked up at Duffy’s Pets & Tanzilla Harness Supplies.
Complete registration (must include payment) can be mailed to mailing address stated on the registration form, emailed to address stated on the registration form or can be dropped off at Duffy’s Pets & Tanzilla Harness Supplies.

Registration Deadline: at the end of the day of March 6th, 2019
after that day a late fee of $50 will apply

Volunteers are still needed at the start line and check point. Feel free to do both.
