Hello Dog Lovers,
While we are waiting for the snow (or maybe some of us don’t 😉), we are happy to offer you another workshop. We can never learn enough about what’s best for our canine friends.
The Basic Dog Nutrition and Raw Feeding Presentation and Discussion Workshop
will be given by local Niomi Smith.
Niomi Smith is an FCI/MEOE Certified Training Director, CKC Canine Good Neighbor Evaluator and competes with her German Shepherds in many sport/working venues. She also runs a small German Shepherd breeding program in Yukon. Niomi has been training dogs since 2004, and professionally since 2006. Niomi has been competing in dogs sports since 2011 and, in 2013 traveled with two German Shepherds to Hungary, to attend her certification program.
Niomi has been raw feeding dogs since 2006; including fosters, rescues, litters and personal dogs of all ages. Over the last 11 years, Niomi has dedicated herself to developing her raw feeding and nutrition program. Through educational workshops, Niomi shares this information with those, who seek to provide the optimal nutrition their companion dogs or dogs who need to thrive in working capacities.
DATE: Saturday, November 18th
TIME: 3 pm
LOCATION: Yukon College Room A2605
- This presentation is about 1.5 hours long, plus time for discussion and Q&A. So bring extra time (up to 3 hours total)!
- 25 participants maximum!
- This workshop has the potential to grow into advanced classes on a “higher level”, if people are interested and/or more experienced, later in the season.
Cost: $15 for DPSAY members, $20 for Non-members
(Individual membership fees (annual): $15 – Adults, $10 – 18 years and under)

- If you like to become a member of DPSAY, please fill out attached membership form and email it to us with your reservation (or print it and bring it to the workshop).
Include membership fees in your e-transfer please. - We will establish a waiting list and contact you in case of cancellations.
