Hello DPSAY fans,

After a one year hiatus, DPSAY’s Poker Run Fundraiser for the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter was a big success. The event, which was held at the Chadburn Lake Ski Trails in Riverdale, saw 30 participants with their furry friends and families out in support of the shelter. The turnout was fantastic, and the demographic of people and their dogs was very diverse!

Upon finishing the course and waiting for the best poker hands to be tallied up, participants enjoyed a free BBQ of delicious sausages kindly donated by Stacey’s Butcher Block. Thank you they were fantastic.!!!

The hands were sorted out and three lucky participants walked away with some awesome prizes from our local sponsors.

• 1^st Prize: Return Airfare for 2 from Air North Yukon’s Airline went to Tonja Hinchey, who brought her family out to take part.
• 2^nd Prize: $200 gift certificate from All Paws Veterinary Clinic went to Heather Robb.
• 3^rd Prize $150 gift certificate from The Feed Store/Pet Junction went to Joey Connon.

Thank you to everyone, who participated and volunteered in the Poker Run. With your help we were able to raise $630 for the animal shelter.
