Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon

Hello Dog Powered Sports Enthusiasts,

We held our AGM and Appreciation Party on Friday. in case you missed it, here is what happened:

1) Let’s thank our leaving board members, who will take a well deserved break. Thank you for all your time and hard work you have put into DPSAY:

2) Let’s welcome our new DPSAY board: (executive positions will be appointed at the first board meeting)

3) Fabian gave us a summary of the DPSAY survey, which we will make available online soon.

4) The crowd voted on a change of DPSAY’s membership fees. We have revisited the layout and fees for memberships for the following reason:

– to raise a little bit more money for events and administration (e.g. annual insurance @ $2500)

– to improve accuracy of membership count for events, sponsors and funding applications.

New membership layout is in effect as of now, since memberships expired on April 30th, 2017.

• Individual memberships: $15 for Adults and $10 for 18 years old and younger
• DPSAY does not offer Kennel Memberships anymore.

After business was taken care of, we enjoyed a feast while watching the movie “Dog Power” (kindly sponsored by Non-Stop Dog Wear). And of course there was plenty of dog talk.
