That’s official ! Our first race of the season is on !!
Come have fun at the YDMA tracks in the Ibex Valley on a 12 miles loop with a view. The limit is 6 dogs for sleds and 2 dogs for skijorers. There is a good base layer but sledders, bring 2 hooks if you can. There will be a 3.5 miles loop available for recreational teams up to 4 dogs for sleds, and 1 dog for skijorers.
Registration is at 10 am, followed by the musher’s meeting.
$10 for members, $15 for non members.
Membership is $15 for individuals and $25 for kennels.
Directions: Take the AK Highway towards Haines Junction, at about km 8 (close to the Old AK Highway) you will see a sign on the right, turn there !
