Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon

So many thanks to say today after such a beautiful day of racing at the Takhini Hot Pools ! Thanks to them for hosting, to Café Balzam for handling so many hungry mushers in one room, to Robert Siefke for a beautiful trail, thanks to Mathieu Devred and Jessica Simon for timing, thanks to our sponsors Yukon Brewing, Coast Mountain Sports, Aurora Booties, Men’s World, Icycle Sports, and finally, thanks to ALL the teams who participated in the race despite the cold morning hours !

The temperature went up a bit by the time everybody was having their team ready. 20 teams ran the 13 miles course, and 8 teams ran the 5 miles course. A few people showed up for the skijoring clinic and bravo for braving the cold ! Results are posted below. Our next race is February 22nd at Armin Johnson and Mandy Johnson, at Fox Lake, who will host the traditional race of the Rendez vous weekend, the Babe Southwick 🙂 See you there !
