DPSAY’s first summer event and our 2012 Annual General Meeting.
Please join us! DPSAY needs to restructure its board (members are coming and going) so come tell us how you will help to keep this organization successful and hosting events for all who love dog sports.
7 pm (registration for the race 6:30-7), Wednesday, June 20th
at the Mt. Mac Ski Centre (meeting at the wax room – take the stairs down from the parking lot)
The race course will start from outside the wax room and be on the Mt. Mac ski trails and the following description is provided by Stefan Wackerhagen, our volunteer trail maker:
There is a 0.9 mile loop for 1-dog bike and canicross and a 2.2 mile loop for 2-dog bike. Both start northbound from the ski chalet than turn west a little (up the hill), than south, pass the ski chalet (which is down below the trails), than back down and loop back to the start at the ski chalet.
Prizes and food following the race. Meat for the bbq, buns, and salad will be available. Feel free to contribute, potluck style.
Race sign-up: 6:30 – 7
AGM: 7 – 7:30
Race: 7:30-8:30
BBQ and refreshments: 8:30 on
